Available image conversions
The current image tool converts JPG and JPEG files to PNG. It is useful when a platform, document, or design workflow needs PNG output from a compressed source image.
Image conversion runs locally in the browser and preserves the visible dimensions of the uploaded image. A format change cannot recreate transparency or detail that was not present in the original JPG.
