About ConverterKey

ConverterKey is a focused toolkit for unit conversions, file utilities, text tools, and financial reference checks. The goal is simple: help people get reliable answers quickly, without turning a basic task into a search project.

Our Mission

ConverterKey exists to make everyday and technical conversions easier to complete, easier to verify, and easier to repeat. Whether someone is checking a measurement for a report, converting a value for a classroom example, preparing a file, or comparing currency amounts, the page should be direct, readable, and useful.

Our Vision

The long-term vision is to make ConverterKey a dependable reference for common conversion work across units, files, text, and finance tools. That means more than calculators: each important page should explain the relationship, show the formula or source context, include practical examples, and reduce the mistakes that happen when people move between systems, standards, and formats.

Founder

ConverterKey was founded by Anup Kayastha, a software engineer, with the aim of making practical conversion tools clearer, faster, and easier to trust for everyday users, students, and professionals.

Before starting ConverterKey, Anup worked as a software developer and spent time building internet tools that solve small but common problems for users. That background shaped the product direction: keep the interface simple, make the answer easy to verify, and avoid unnecessary steps when someone only needs a reliable result.

ConverterKey reflects that move from software development into entrepreneurship. The focus is on building practical web tools that can stand on their own, improve over time, and help people complete routine work with less friction.

What We Build

Unit converters

Focused pages for length, area, volume, weight, temperature, data, pressure, energy, power, speed, time, and other practical categories.

Utility tools

Lightweight tools such as image conversion and text analysis, designed for quick browser-based workflows.

Reference pages

Supporting content with formulas, examples, tables, definitions, and usage notes so results are easier to understand.

Financial lookups

Currency reference tools built for planning and comparison, with clear reminders that final provider rates may differ.

Product Principles

Clear answers first

A converter page should answer the immediate question before asking the user to read background material. Inputs, outputs, formulas, and examples are kept close together.

Practical accuracy

ConverterKey favors transparent formulas, sensible rounding, and clear precision notes over vague claims. Critical results should still be verified independently.

Fast on everyday devices

The site is built for quick checks on phones, laptops, and shared work machines. Pages should load quickly and remain usable without unnecessary interface weight.

Respect for user work

Tools should avoid needless friction. Where possible, browser-based utilities process files or text locally, and pages explain when third-party services are involved.

Accuracy and Responsibility

ConverterKey is built to be accurate and useful, but no public conversion tool should be the final authority for high-stakes decisions. Engineering, medical, legal, financial, safety, and compliance work should be checked against the relevant official standard, provider, or internal process.

When a page depends on an external data source, such as currency reference rates, the page should make that context clear. When a calculation uses a formula, the formula should be visible enough for a user to inspect the result.

Privacy and Tool Inputs

Many tools are designed to minimize unnecessary data movement. For example, browser tools such as text counting and image conversion can perform their core work on the page itself. Other tools, such as currency conversion, may need to contact a server-side route or data provider to return current reference information.

More detail is available in the Privacy Policy.

Headquarters

ConverterKey is headquartered in Boudha - 06, Kathmandu, Bagmati 44600, Nepal.

What Comes Next

ConverterKey will continue adding useful converter categories, improving examples, clarifying formulas, and tightening pages that need better context. The priority is not to add noise. The priority is to make common conversion work faster, clearer, and easier to trust on both mobile and desktop.
